FAQs/Help
Is this a club?
No. This is an opportunity to see quality G-rated movies at your local
theatre. We hope to bring the program back to your town in the future
with more new films. Of course we would love to have you and your family
return to see the films, but you’re not obligated to purchase tickets
to those films or make any other future purchases.
How many movies are coming to my town?
Our goal is to bring at least four family-friendly movies to your local
theatre each year. Your season pass includes admission to “Jumping for
Joy” and the next three films. With your support, we will produce
more family films that help teach and reinforce values, and help ensure
that there is always a G-rated movie playing at your local theatre.
What movies can I see as part of this program?
“Jumping for Joy”
It is 1964 and tomboy Bobbie Dean gets the chance to live her dream
when she is mistaken for a boy and invited to play on a boys basketball
team. Bobbie provides much-needed leadership and helps her team reach
the championship game –– only to be kicked out by a court
order. Undaunted, her coach lets her lead her team from the sidelines.
But will it be enough? Win or lose, Bobbie shows what it means to have
the heart of a champion.
“The Penny Promise”
Meet Will Duncan, a man who tells his young friend, Dusty, that “an
honest heart is more valuable than any amount of money.” Then
again, an honest heart and some money would be awfully nice right now.
Will wants to marry his sweetheart, Annie, and he promised her father
that he would save $10,000 to prove he can take care of her. And Will
never breaks a promise. But to a young teacher like Will, saving $10,000
is about like trying to climb Mount Everest — wearing roller blades.
As a scheming rival does his best to add to Will’s money shortage,
there is no shortage of laughs. Through it all, Will proves to be constantly
courageous — and frequently funny—example of honesty.
“The Princess & the Pea”
In order to save the kingdom, wise old raven Sebastian searches frantically
for the secret of the pea and helps his friend Prince Rollo find a perfect
princess. Based on Hans Christian Andersen’s classic tale, the
film offers plenty of comic delight, action and unforgettable music.
“Return to the Secret Garden”
If independent 9-year-old Katherine can learn to accept people for who they are,
she might find the one thing she has always longed for - friendship - in this sequel
to "The Secret Garden" novel.
Why do I need to buy a season pass?
Purchasing tickets in advance from Visiplex means that more of your
movie dollars go directly toward the production of more G-rated films,
which makes it possible for us to continue this program in your area.
Can I buy passes for only one movie at a
time?
the
dedicated matinee program is dependent upon the success of all four
movies that play throughout the year. That, coupled with the
arrangement we have with the theatres, makes it necessary for us to sell
the passes for four movies at a time. For more
information about tickets and pricing, please call 1-800-480-4084.
Can I get tickets at theatre?
Yes, but when you purchase tickets from the theater, the money stays there
and goes back into the operational costs of the theatre. Buying a prepaid
season ticket from Visiplex, on the other hand, allows us to put your
money directly into the production of more G-rated movies and allows the
opportunity to continue this program in your area.
How long will each movie play?
Depending on the size of your community, the films may play for as few
as four weeks or as many as 12 weeks.
What if I can’t make it to the movie on the time and date
I chose?
We ask you to choose a date to help ensure that there will always be a
seat available for you. Your tickets are valid at any showing of the movie
for which you have a ticket or pass.
